The 12 Steps
to Web Site Recovery

  1. We admit we are powerless over this growing monster of obsolete and outdated content, images and more. We admit our Web site is out of control, that is has become unmanageable.

  2. We come to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore our Web  site to its former glory and that we can retain our sanity.

  3. We have made a decision to turn our Web site over to the care of someone who can understand, implement, create and craft it as it should be done.

  4. We have made a searching and fearless inventory of our site--from the most minute technical details to what it should say, and how it should look and feel.

  5. We have admitted to the executive team, sales team and marketing department the exact nature of the site's wrongs.

  6. We are entirely ready to have all defects, inaccuracies and content omissions removed from our site.

  7. We humbly ask that our Supplier acknowledge and work with us during any potential shortcomings.

  8. We have made a list of all things "gone wrong" with the Web site and are willing to make amends, as necessary.

  9. We have made direct amends to anyone involved in the site, when possible.

  10. We continue to take inventory of the site so that we can continually improve it, and admit when wrong.

  11. We seek understanding from a Higher Power to help our Web site be everything it's designed to be.

  12. Having had a revelation of our Web site's potential, we do everything we can to share this message of Web Site Recovery to as many as possible.
